Our Story
The Low Country Swamp Shack is a family-owned and operated food business built on faith, hard work, and one big dream.
Blue-collar people serving Blue Collar Legends.
I was born in Garland, Texas, and my family has roots in Kingsport, Tennessee. I eventually made my way to Charleston, South Carolina, bringing more than 20 years of food experience with me.
We started under a tent and served food out of the back of my truck, but I knew the Swamp Shack could grow into something much bigger.
After traveling to Tennessee to pick up my son, I quit my job, and together we took a chance on this journey. We worked events, built our name, and earned the support of our customers one plate at a time.

Send a booking request with your event date, location, guest count and event details. Your date is not confirmed until Swamp Shack contacts you and accepts the booking.
Requests are welcome for birthday parties, company events, family reunions, weddings, fundraisers, motorcycle clubs, corporate lunches, sporting events, festivals and private parties.
The prices shown are starting points. Final pricing depends on the menu, guest count, travel, venue requirements, staffing and availability.
Yes. Whole smoked gator packages are available for select events, including options with sides. Use the request form to confirm availability for your date.
